Water service lines & underground leaks

Find out what’s happening with your water line.

A suspected underground leak can leave you wondering what the repair will involve. Bryan can assess the water service line and explain the work he recommends, including whether a smaller repair is reasonable.

The water line from the meter to the house

Keystone works on the customer’s side of the water service, including leaks near the meter. A wet area in the yard may be the first thing you notice. Sometimes an unexplained increase in the water bill is what brings the problem to your attention.

Before deciding on the repair, Bryan needs to understand where water is being lost and the condition of the pipe. A spot repair may be reasonable. A line that keeps failing may be worth replacing, but that recommendation should come with an explanation.

Tell Bryan about previous repairs on the line. If the meter appears to move while the property isn’t using water, mention that as well.
